Learn more about our historyKnow-how in the production of technical springs
Decades of experience with material and spring properties.
Springs are supposedly simple components. However, the function of a machine part or complete device often depends on their trouble-free operation. As contact springs, storage, vibration, damping, resting or bearing elements, they are indispensable components in vehicles, mechanical and electrotechnical devices, in medical and computer technology, etc.
Finding the right spring for the desired application is not always easy.
Unterstützung anfragenWe support you with:
- Decades of experience with spring materials
- Comprehensive know-how of thermal and force-specific properties of technical springs
- Creation of drawings
- Feasibility testing
- Toolmaking for prototype development
- Qualified specialist staff
- Highly technical machinery
This guarantees you an optimum ratio of form, function and cost.
Individual custom-made products
We specialize in individual custom-made products based on your drawings or samples, low manufacturing tolerances and small winding ratios. The latter is particularly important in times when technology is becoming ever more compact.
In order to continuously develop springs further, we conduct research in cooperation with technical universities and various committees of the VDFI (German Spring Industry Association).
Our cooperation in research projects:
- Influence of the end and transition coils on the function and operating behavior of cold-formed compression springs
- Determination of function and production-relevant spring wire parameters (E and G modulus)
- Fatigue strength of coil springs in the range of extremely high numbers of cycles
- Determination of fatigue strength and relaxation diagrams for highly stressed compression springs
- Collaboration in the "Quality Management" subcommittee of the VDFI
- Head of the "Measuring and Testing" working group of the VDFI
Quality
Multi-stage test procedures and comprehensive documentation of production and measurement results.
Zero defects is your claim and our goal. The way to achieve this is through the continuous training and further education of our specialists, the purchase of high-quality spring steels and production that is networked with modern testing procedures.
We comply with individually defined customer standards as well as national and international standards. Our quality management is certified according to ISO 9001:2015.
We comply with the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and are therefore one of the top suppliers. We have also been a "Preferred Supplier" of the Bosch Group in the area of springs since 2010.
Test procedure
To ensure consistently high quality, our springs undergo several test steps during and after production.
In addition to visual inspection and manual measurement, employees in all production departments have access to measuring stations and analysis devices that are networked with each other. This allows us to record all production and measurement values and employees receive real-time feedback on the quality of the products currently being produced.
To implement our zero-defect strategy, we use:
- Tensile tests up to 50 kN
- Service life testing on 2 load cycle test benches
- Fully automatic force measurement
- Optical measurement of angles e1 and e2
- Automatic length measurement during production
- Relaxation test
- CAQ (Computer Aided Quality)
- CIP (Continuous Improvement Process)
With more than 100 mechanical and computer-controlled machines and 50 qualified employees, we manufacture precision springs not only in standard designs, but also according to your specific requirements. Materials as well as spring shapes, spring ends, surface processes and much more can be individually designed.
Documentation
We record production and measurement steps and results. This enables us to trace all production batches at any time. On request, we can provide you with material certificates, measurement and test reports as well as test certificates in accordance with EN 10204 for each production batch.
Production of technical springs
Compression springs, torsion springs, bent and wire-formed parts according to your specific requirements.
We are specialized in:
- Special designs according to customer-specific requirements
- Wire diameters from 0.2 to 12.0 mm
- Lowest tolerances (
- Small winding ratios
- Short delivery times
Lowest tolerances
Our compression springs feature lowest tolerances (< grade 1). Each batch is tested for quality across several steps with different checkweighers and measuring instruments to ensure that all springs contained are identical.
Compression springs with tight spring index are another specialty. This allows for components to be built smaller with a simultaneous increase in power transmission.
We process all common materials according to DIN EN 10270 as well as special materials such as Hastelloy, Nimonic and so on. Since we stock several hundred tons of spring steel wire in our warehouse we can deliver compression springs, torsion springs, leaf springs, bent wire parts, rings and snap rings in minimum time.
Corporate mission statement
We are a medium-sized family-run company that has been producing technical springs for over five decades - exclusively 'made in Germany' and with high precision.
Our company policy combines traditional values such as reliability, collegiality and trust with advanced technology and qualified employees. To put it metaphorically: our company is like a technical spring. There are constants (traditional values) and variables (technology and know-how continuously adapted to current and future developments as well as management policy). This means that we can bend elastically when the framework conditions change without breaking.
The technical springs we produce move machine parts, close switching contacts, create friction-locked connections or distribute loads. This is why they are indispensable in countless sectors such as mechanical and plant engineering, environmental, information and medical technology as well as the automotive and commercial vehicle industries. And will remain so.
We therefore focus on sustainable corporate development and invest continuously to keep the "machine" running for future generations.
